General User Privacy Policy

A user is defined as anyone browsing or using the services of the ZeeBay platform covering, but not restricted to, guests, buyers, sellers and ZeeBay staff on the ZeeBay platform.

All users consent to and grant ZeeBay the authority to collect data pertaining any of their interactions with the ZeeBay platform.
All users consent to and grant ZeeBay the authority and discretion to release any collected information to the authorities.
Any user in disagreement with any element outlined in the terms and conditions or privacy policy shall be taken to be in disagreement with the containing document in its entirety.
When in disagreement, with the terms and conditions or privacy policy, the user shall immediately stop using the ZeeBay platform.
On ceasing to use the platform, ZeeBay holds the right to retain any data and information collected about the user.
ZeeBay shall put in security and administrative controls to prevent unauthorised access to all user information.
Where information is consolidated for sharing with a third party, ZeeBay shall remove or redact any user identifiers.

Buyer Privacy Policy

All buyers consent to having their relevant information being released to prospective sellers, in-order for them to perform their due diligence or promote a safe shopping experience.
ZeeBay shall only release buyer information to sellers whose products the buyer or potential buyer has had an interaction with.
The buyer shall hold the seller responsible for the privacy of any information they release directly to them.
ZeeBay indemnifies itself from any misuse of buyer information released to sellers.

Seller Privacy Policy

All sellers consent to having their relevant information being released to prospective buyers, in-order for them to perform their due diligence or promote a safe shopping experience.
The seller shall hold the buyer or potential buyer, as the case may be, responsible for the privacy of any information they release directly to them.
ZeeBay indemnifies itself from any misuse of seller information released to buyers.

Data Collection Policy

This refers to any data collected about the user data during or after users have engaged with the ZeeBay platform.

We collect data about the users browsing device such as browser, device screen size and device location.
We collect data about the products a user viewed.
And, maintain a history of products a user purchased.

Specific to users logging in using Facebook Login, we collect and use the following:

We collect their name, surname and email, to complete their ZeeBay account details.
We collect their Facebook login id (which by design only works on our website), to allow seamless login on subsequent visits.
No other Facebook data, other than outline above, is collected.

To request a deletion of the data collected, you may request a full account deletion by sending an email to shopping from the email address associated with your ZeeBay account.

Data Analytics Policy

Data analytics refers to any tools and processes used to analyse user data during or after users have engaged with the ZeeBay platform.

ZeeBay uses Google Analytics which may be used by Google itself to analyse user behaviour.
As such, ZeeBay indemnifies itself from any resulting side effects such as changes in targeted ads that may result from interactions with the platform.
When logged into ones Google Account, Google may be able to directly identify a ZeeBay user through the analytics tools. This is beyond the control of ZeeBay and therefore exempt from any prior stated third party privacy protections.
Any user desiring to reduce the possibility of their identification by Google, or any of its tools used by ZeeBay, shall log out of their Google account before accessing the ZeeBay platform and clear their browser cookies after accessing the platform.
All users of this site are thus subject to the Google privacy policy and terms.
